Anaconda del Curaka – Full Day Amazon Tour

• 1. Airport or Hotel Pickup
• We will pick you up from the airport or your hotel and take you to our private dock, Shamana. The tour starts at 9:00 AM, followed by a boat ride of about 1 hour to Curaka Expeditions along the Amazon River.
• 2. Boat Trip on the Amazon River
• We will travel along the Itaya River, which runs around the city of Iquitos. Depending on the season, we may see floating houses. We will then reach the Amazon River, where the dark waters of the Itaya meet the brown waters of the Amazon. Along the way, we will look for river dolphins.
• 3. Arrival at the Lodge and Activities
• Upon arrival at the lodge, you will be welcomed with a traditional drink. Your guide will explain the activities for the day.
• We will take a walk through the rainforest to discover local plants and wildlife, followed by a visit to a Bora community.
• Lunch will be served at the lodge, with a self-service option. After lunch, you can relax by the swimming pool or in the hammock area.
• On the return trip to Iquitos, we will visit a local riverside resident who cares for animals such as anacondas and sloths. You will have time to take photos.
• End of the tour.
